Jon,
I am a lifelong golfer and student of the game. I have tried a number of golf schools and methods but have found none to compare with Motion Memory Golf. At age 63, I am playing the best golf of my life. Motion Memory Golf has increased my distance and consistency resulting 4 stroke improvement in my handicap (down to a 9). Almost more importantly, after years of fighting back pain, wearing braces, heat belts etc., I now play and practice as much as I like pain free. The conversion of life long swing habits is not easy but because the Motion Memory concepts are few, simple to learn and habit-forming through the devices and exercises Jon offers, its has been as easy a journey as possible.
"Humans have a neuronal map, known as body scheme, that permits effective programming of a series of actions involving the whole body required in skilled movement. "Motion Memory Golf" taps into the visual, tactile, kinesthetic, and vestibular system (balance) required for motor planning. Motor planning involves ideation or determining how one might interact with the environment (Step 1. pre-shot routine), organizing a program of action ( Step 2, 3, and 4), and execution of the actual performance of a motor act (Step 5 through 10). Through practice and repetition of the Motion Memory steps, a neuronal map of a perfect golf swing can be developed."

Handicap 10“I discovered MMG in the spring of 1999. MMG is no gimmick or quick-fix for the golf swing. Through a series of drills which Jon Baker pioneered, MMG creates all correct positions the entire body needs to be in to create the proper swing and balance. It also maintains the proper spine angle, so the body does not fatigue or stress areas like hips, lower back, or arms. As an added bonus, MMG is a great circulatory workout. If you’re really serious to improve your golf game, make the right choice. Choose MMG.”

Beginning Golfer“As a beginning golfer, it was great to hook up with MMG. Living where the golf season is at the mercy of cold weather, I began indoors with Jon during the winter months. When the snow melted and it came time to swing the clubs, I found myself in marked improvement over the last couple of years of hacking away. In fact I was on the green in regulation the first nine holes. Now I do my drills and reap the benefit of a much improved game where I am now not embarrassed to golf with any of my new-found golfing friends.”

“I have been working with Jon this past winter. I am amazed at the results I have received. His simple approach to the swing mechanics makes learning simple. The exercises and his training devices makes MMG easy to understand and very efficient. I am hitting the ball more solid and straighter than ever.”

John L. Mecham Ent., Inc.“I have been to many different golf schools and spent a ton of money in pursuit of the illusive swing. I left them all simply tired, sore, confused, and frustrated. I would return home, only to find my way back to my old habits. Jon Baker’s Motion Memory Golf gave me the drills, tools and instruction to allow me to ‘feel’ what the right swing is. I used to slide and sway on the back swing. His swivels taught me to turn properly and maintain my balance. I used to cast the club, resulting in weak drifting shots. Jon taught me to feel the proper lag and turn. I now rotate to the ball with a powerful turn, resulting in a forceful blow that pinches the ball into a strong path. He taught me in terms and drills I could understand, but better feel. If you are tired, sore confused and frustrated by chasing the illusive golf swing at schools that are expensive and ineffective, give Jon Bakers MMG a try. I feel I have finally invested in something I can use to improve my game.”
Steve Schneiter, Professional Golfer,
Nationwide Tour, PGA Tour, Former National Club Pro Champion“During our years as teammates at BYU, I developed a tremendous respect for Jon Baker and his understanding of the golf swing. Since I make my living playing golf professionally, I must have someone I truly trust to analyze my swing and exchange ideas on mechanics. I don’t hesitate to have Jon take a look at my swing and I have found his MMG teaching tools ideal to help keep me in shape and tuned up physically.

Inside Golf Magazine“MMG and Jon Baker provide a simplified, practical, tactical approach to golf that will benefit players of all ages and abilities. His unique training devices may strike you as unconventional upon first glance, but the physical movements they promote make a tremendous difference on the golf course and help develop a swing that is easily repeated under the most demanding pressure situations.”

Anchorage“I had never played golf before. After four classes with Motion Memory Golf, I met Jon Baker at the driving range for a golf lesson. I never knew golf could be this easy! During the lesson I found it very easy to repeat the motion I had learned during the exercise class and was astounded at how well I contacted the golf ball. A week later I had my first experience on a real course in Hawaii. I hit a lot of good balls by just 'going through the motions'. The best was when I landed a ball on the green from the tee on a Par 3 hole - Fun! ”

Salt Lake City“When I first met Jon I had an 18 handicap. I never thought I’d get any better. After two months of doing the exercises, I was down to an 8 handicap. The day I shot my lowest nine-hole score of 36 I hit every fairway and missed only one green in regulation. I ran to the driving range with the scorecard in my hand looking for Jon Baker.”
Greg Sanders, Anchorage, AK

2005-06 State Amateur Stroke play Champion 2007“After four of your exercise classes, I shot the lowest mid-winter (off season) score that I had ever short before. It was a 71 on a par 72 Championship golf course.”
Johnson family
Star Valley, Idaho“When Jon Baker stayed at our home for a professional golf event, he showed my 12-year old son his Motion Memory Golf equipment and how to use it. My son practiced on the equipment every day and then took his father’s 7 iron out to the pasture. In three days I saw my son go from a beginner to a golfer who could hit a ball over two fences into the cattle yard. That was about a 150 yard shot!”

Anchorage“I have been playing golf for more than 45 years and it’s easy to say that I learned more in one hour talking to Jon Baker than from all the golf books and magazines I’ve read or golf videos I have seen. The problem is the average golfer is bombarded with so many different explanations that it’s easy to become confused and frustrated. Motion Memory Golf put me on a clear path that keeps me working on my game the correct way, which allows my game to improve.”

AnchorageMotion Memory Golf and the instruction by Jon gave me immediate positive results in understanding and improving my swing. The exercises help reinforce what Jon taught me and allow me to recognize and correct problems.
